Project 4

I can't believe I'm already at the point of completing my last and final project for this semester. Time went by extremely fast! Project 4 was basically a wrap up of our semester long project and it was something I enjoyed doing. My group as always worked really well together to get this finished. For the project we had to get together all of the work that we have done and put it together then write a final paper and a reflection. Each group member got assigned a part of the paper to complete and I was assigned to how we brought awareness to our problem. This is something that was not very hard for me to do because that's what the whole project was mainly focused on. Once everyone's part was completed everything was put together into a binder. It included all of the things we did for our previous projects. For the presentation part of the project each of us will talk about the part of the paper that we had to write and we will also be showing our power point with a video included.

Comp Conference

A few weeks ago i attended the College Comp Conference that was held at the SUB. My really good friend Brianna was presenting on of her papers so I wanted to go in the same room that she was in. The first person to read her paper was about her journey here to Kutztown. It was really interesting to here her choice of words and her style of writing. The second person to speak was my friend Brianna and her paper was about taking a deeper look into music and how important it is to her. It was really nice to hear her tell everyone about how much music means to her. The last paper was more of a research paper about the government and the budget cuts. Even though his paper was a research paper, he still managed to make everything seem interesting. When all three papers were done everyone in the room discussed the papers that were just read. It was interesting to see how different the styles of papers that were written. The first girls paper was more personal and was easy to relate to, the second was still personal but also had a lot of research put into it, and the third was mostly all research. I really thought it was great that these students took time out to read their papers to a group of people and I'm glad I got to be a part of it.
